Until now, SLS has been unavailable to most businesses, due to high costs and difficult workflows. At Formlabs, we’re changing the industry.

We’ve designed the most approachable selective laser sintering (SLS) 3D printer, the Fuse 1. Accompanying it is the Fuse Sift, an all-in-one powder recovery station for the Fuse 1.

In this live webinar, we’ll have our SLS Engineering Director, Ian Ferguson, and an SLS Services Engineer, Andrew Balboni, introduce you to the Fuse 1 and the Fuse Sift, and show you how SLS printing can create production-ready nylon parts.

What you will learn:

  • What you can print on the Fuse 1, with customer examples.
  • A step-by-step guide on how to print on the Fuse 1 and Fuse Sift.
  • Everything you need to know about our Nylon 12 Powder and how you can recycle it.
  • The four benefits of in-house SLS 3D printing.

Note: We will also have versions of this webinar in German, French, Italian, and Spanish very soon. Stay tuned.

Andrew Balboni

SLS Services Engineer

Andrew studied Industrial Design at Rochester Institute of Technology, where he focused on 3D printing, digital fabrication, and workflow development by building a maker space for the College of Art & Design. While working at RIT, his ten years of experience with SolidWorks was leveraged to teach courses on designing products that use digital fabrication as the primary means of manufacturing. As Formlabs’ SLS Services Engineer, he is the liaison between the engineering and services teams to make sure printers keep printing.
